Saint-Paul / Chemin Pavé Lougnon

1er Jour, mise en jambes

Aujourd'hui, on voulait se mettre en jambes, on a donc décidé de faire une petite ballade (sur le papier, facile et seulement 1:15).
Nous sommes donc allé en voiture à Saint-Paul près du Tour des Roches. Et nous avons pris le chemin des Cèdres pour accéder au départ du chemin pavé lougnon.
Très beau chemin pavé, très bien rénové et entretenu par la commune, mais ca ne fait que monter pendant 40 minutes.
Je ne trouverai ici jamais un chemin plat, histoire de commencer en douceur. Bon grace à Christian, ca va mieux qu'il y a 2 ans. Les jambes suivent mieux.
Par contre, quasi tout le chemin est en plein soleil. Donc il fait chaud et soif ! Qui a parlé d'hiver ????
Le descente se fait par le même chemin, trop facile.

First Day, Warm-up

Today we wanted to warm up our legs, so we decided to go to do a walk described as easy and short. (1:15).
We drove then to Saint-Paul, near the Tour des Roches, and then the Chemin des Cèdres, to arrive to a paved path,
It is a really nice way, redone and the city is really taking care of it. The problem: it's going up during 40 minutes and it's full under the sun.
So it's hot and we were thursty eventhough we are having a bottle of water with us. By chance it's winter here!
I would like to find once a nice flat way to start, but I think on this island, it's impossible. Thanks to Christian, it was better than 2 years ago.
The way down is the same as the way up, so easy.

Déjeuner

A midi, Saint-Gilles-Les-Bains: on voulait manger près de la plage, et finalement, dans une petite rue, on a été attirés par l'odeur d'un bon carri (riz-graines-pimment en option-viande ou poisson), dans un petit self avec quelques tables sous les arbres: Chez Mité.
C'était trop bon.

Ensuite ballade dans Saint-Gilles, achat des dernières choses pratiques: carte de téléphone, eau, etc ...
Quand on est arrivés au bungalow, il commencait à pleuvoir, et il est tombé des cordes. Maintenant, 2 heures plus tard, il ne pleut plus du tout ...
Il est temps de se trouver un coin pour manger ce soir.

Lunch

At lunch, we wanted to go to Saint-Gilles-Les-Bains beside the beach, but we stoped on the way to Chez Mité a self-service, with some tables under the trees, as it was smelling too good Carri (Rice, lentil, spice, meat or fish).
It was delicious.
Then a little bit of shopping, and then back to the bungalows, where we arrived with the rain. It was extremly raining for some minutes, and then it stopped.
So it's time to go to search a restaurant for tonight.
